Ultima CPX takes center stage at ASA Pro AM

2009 World Games Champion Kevin Wilkey added another podium placement to his already impressive track record - taking second at the latest stage in the ASA competition circuit. Helping him stay on target: the brand-new Ultima CPX target compound sight!

Shibuya Shooter Jeff Fabry takes 3rd at the Vegas Shoot

Multiple IPC worlf champion and Paralympic medalist Jeff Fabry took his pre-production model Ultima CPX to the Vegas Shoot 2010 - and returned home with another top three place in the compound limited division!
Two more CPX prototypes were present at the shoot - drawing attention on ISAA Pro Am winner Logan Wilde and World Games champion Kevin Wilkey's bows.

Shibuya Shooter Dee Wilde also would not let himself be outdone, posting another third place in the Senior Compound Unlimited Championship division.

Shibuya Shooter Jay Lyon breaks Canadian record - again!

A mere week after setting a new Canadian Indoor FITA record of 593, Jay Lyon (CAN) did it again - topping his previous score by a full 3 points! His new record of 596 is just one point shy of the FITA world record in this division.
Congratulations to Jay for this great achievement!
 
Australian Champion Pat Coghlan joins Team Shibuya

"I bolted it to a car engine (we use at the farm to pump water from the river to a holding tank) and started the engine and let it run.
The sight stood the test, hence I shoot for SHIBUYA," Australian National Target Champion Pat Coghlan (AUS) says about his Ultima CP365-6.

Another great success for Team Shibuya in Europe's biggest Indoor shoot! Chrystelle Garitat took home the women's compound gold with her Ultima CP365-9. In a truly exciting finals tournament, Chrystelle worked her way up to the podium from the 27th qualifying score!

2010 ISAA Pro-Am

Shibuya's Logan Wilde (USA) kicked off what looks to be a promising year with an astonishing success - a win at the ISAA Pro-Am in Mason City, Iowa!
Coming out on top of 550 competitors including the world's finest compound archers, Logan left his mark on the target butt with a 689 score - 2 rings above the 2nd scoring archer.
Congratulations to Logan, and all other archers competing at the event!
2009 PFA Idaho Open
Pocatello (USA) - 12-13 December 2009
Shibuya's Logan Wilde (USA) proved his excellence in the prestigious PFA Idaho Open with a 599, 52X score, placing him in a 3-man shootoff. Logan came out on top to win 2nd place at the competition!
Congratulations to all archers who participated in the competition.
 
2009 Archery World Cup Finals

Grand Title for Sergio Pagni (ITA)!

Shibuya's Shooting Staff showed another exceptionally strong performance at the World Cup Finals in  Copenhagen (DEN), bringing home 8 medals from the prestigious event. 
Particularly impressive was Sergio Pagni's first-place finish in the men's compound division, topping off an unbelievably successful outdoor season! Sergio also left his mark on the mixed team competition, taking the silver medal with his teammate Anastasia Anastasio.

World Archery Championships
Ulsan (KOR) - 1-9 September 2009
New World Record, 21 medals for Team Shibuya!
First medal for the new Shibuya 29mm Scope!
 
Oh Jin-Hyek Shibuya's Shooting Staff dominated the field at the  Target Archery World Championships 2009 in Ulsan, Korea - earning 16 medals, and a new world record in the FITA ranking round!
Korea's OH Jin-Hyek left his mark on FITA history with his performance in the ranking round, starting out with a record 90m score of 342. OH carried his lead all the way through the ranking round, scoring an astonishing 1386 points overall - another world record.
OH Jin-Hyek (KOR) presenting his 30m target But Shibuya's Shooting Staff did not stop there - with several competitors staying in the top four  of each division.
21 Shibuya Staff Shooters managed to wrestle a medal from their competition - Including Albina Loginova (RUS), who won both the individual and team gold medal in the women's compound division, as well as Steve Clifton (NZL), who took the compound men's individual Bronze using his Ultima CP and Shibuya 29mm Scope!
Shibuya would like to congratulate all participants on their outstanding performance in the 2009 World Championships.
